In 1983 I started to experience anxiety.
I sought professional help with a Psychiatrist.
It was effecting my job, not to be able to communicate in a face to face manner.
He put me on 1/2 mil (peach) xanax, 3 times a day. They helped.
In 1984, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. In hindsight, it was my high blood sugars causing this anxiety.
It’s now 2016, and I’m still taking xanax. I take 1 mg first thing in the morning and 1 mg when it’s time to sleep.
My fear is I’ve been on Xanax for 33 years & know my brain is wired differently now.
